Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:
Play It Safe (4-1): Rams vs. CAR
Carolina canned their coach and defensive coordinator and maybe that gives the team a bit of a wake up call, but the talent advantage here heavily favors the Rams. This has the makings of a get-healthy game for LA.
Out on a Limb (1-4): Ravens at NYG
Going with the Ravens on the road versus a team that has just one loss through five weeks is ballsy. However, I think the matchup favors the Ravens and moreover I think the Giants’ success is a bit of a mirage.

I jumped off my “play the under on Thursday night” soap box last week and the result was a game without a single touchdown. Let’s get back to normal here and lay the under 38 in this contest. The Bears love to run the ball and the Commanders are dealing with injuries to some key offensive cogs and that makes me feel better about this bet.
