Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:
Play It Safe (10-2): Cowboys vs. IND
Aside from blowing their 14-point, fourth-quarter lead a couple weeks back in Green Bay, Dallas has been dynamite of late. Playing at home I really like them in this spot getting the Colts on a short week. Matt Ryan is going to be on his back a ton in this one. Go Cowboys!
Out on a Limb (5-7): Browns at HOU
I generally try to stay away from road teams and I definitely like betting on a QB coming off a two-year layoff. That said, the Browns don’t need Watson to do much here to stick it to a very much undermanned Houston squad.

The calendar has turned December and the stakes are high in this matchup between two divisional foes and AFC playoff hopefuls. Josh Allen hasn’t looked quite right in recent weeks and the Patriots’ D is going to provide a challenge at home. They won’t wipe out the Bills’ production, but they’ll look to contain him and keep on the sidelines by pounding the rock.
