My last article has been posted at Pro Football Focus, ending a nearly two-year run I had as a fantasy football writer and ranker with the website. I will not be renewing my freelance contract with the company in 2019.
It was awesome to be part of an amazing team of analysts over the past two years and I look forward to following all of these talented writers as they now begin to scatter across the industry.
I am super proud of the work I did with PFF, producing over 120 articles along with some quality video content. I thank Pro Football Focus, especially Jeff Ratcliffe, for giving me an opportunity. Jeff is one of the best in the business at what he does and I wish him and the entire PFF team continued success as they move forward.
I am super excited for my next chapter! Stepping away from this commitment will allow me to focus more time on some other projects that I am passionate about and that I’ve wanted to get more involved with in both my professional and personal life for some time. Stay tuned for more info on this down the road!
I do expect to return in 2019 as the host of Fantistics Insider Football on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio for an eighth season when the show returns in July.
All of my fantasy football rankings and articles will return to where it all began for me in 2003, my website GetSportsInfo.com. That is also the home of my year-round fantasy podcast, The GetSportsInfo Podcast, which will now become an ever bigger priority for me when Season 3 launches in March.
In addition, I am currently exploring other opportunities in the fantasy sports and sports betting industry that are more aligned with my passion to do on-air work (podcasts, videos, live streaming), engaging with fantasy players and sports enthusiasts about the things I am the most passionate about.
You can always talk fantasy with me and follow along on my journey by following me on Twitter @DanClasgens.
I am going to take the next few weeks off for some much-needed rest and relaxation and plan on hitting things hard in getting ready for the 2019 fantasy football season as spring nears.
