Every year on my SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio radio show, Fantistics Insider Football, James Adams and I go on the record with some of our predictions for the upcoming NFL season. Here are some of my bold, bolder and my boldest fantasy predictions for 2023:
BOLD
- Ja’Marr Chase finishes with more fantasy points than Justin Jefferson.
- David Montgomery finishes with double-digit RuTD’s for first time in his career (previous high of 8 in 2020.
- Anthony Richardson scores more FP than Geno Smith, Aaron Rodgers and Jared Goff.
- Dalton Schultz will not be a top 15 fantasy TE this year.
BOLDER
- Lamar Jackson goes under 12.5 games played.
- Jahmyr Gibbs finishes the season as RB1 (top 12) in PPR formats.
- Despite soaring August ADP Darren Waller fails to finish at a top 5 fantasy TE due to injury (he’s missed 26 games over the last 5 seasons and turns 31 this season).
BOLDEST
- Russell Wilson fails to finish as a top 20 QB
- Jonathan Taylor misses more games than he plays in 2023
- Both George Pickens and Diontate Johnson finish as top 25 WR’s.
