September 4, 2023

Every year on my SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio radio show, Fantistics Insider Football, James Adams and I go on the record with some of our predictions for the upcoming NFL season. Here are some of my bold, bolder and my boldest fantasy predictions for 2023:

BOLD

  • Ja’Marr Chase finishes with more fantasy points than Justin Jefferson.
  • David Montgomery finishes with double-digit RuTD’s for first time in his career (previous high of 8 in 2020.
  • Anthony Richardson scores more FP than Geno Smith, Aaron Rodgers and Jared Goff.
  • Dalton Schultz will not be a top 15 fantasy TE this year.

BOLDER

  • Lamar Jackson goes under 12.5 games played.
  • Jahmyr Gibbs finishes the season as RB1 (top 12) in PPR formats.
  • Despite soaring August ADP Darren Waller fails to finish at a top 5 fantasy TE due to injury (he’s missed 26 games over the last 5 seasons and turns 31 this season).

BOLDEST

  • Russell Wilson fails to finish as a top 20 QB
  • Jonathan Taylor misses more games than he plays in 2023
  • Both George Pickens and Diontate Johnson finish as top 25 WR’s.
