November 1, 2018

The calendar has hit November and as the NFL starts its second half of the season, we are starting to get a better measure of which teams are pretenders and which ones are contenders. That should help our cause as we make our Week 9 Office Pool Picks.

SURVIVOR PICK
Each week I’ll offer up my “playing it safe” and my “out on the limb” pick for your elimination pool:

Playing it safe – Vikings
I generally shy away from divisional matchups when possible, but you can’t take the Chiefs every week. Minnesota has had their fair share of disappointments this week, but they’re in a good spot hosting a Lions’ team with questions marks of their own.

Out on a limb – Panthers
The Bucs are hoping for some FitzMagic as they head to Carolina, but the Panthers are better on both sides of the ball and should have no problems taking care of their NFC South foes here.

Season Record: Playing it safe (7-1); Out on Limb (3-5).
