SURVIVOR PICK
Each week I’ll offer up my “playing it safe” and my “out on the limb” pick for your elimination pool:

Playing it safe – Patriots
New England heads to Buffalo for a Monday Night battle. The Bills have shown a pulse at times during the season, but coming off a 37-5 beat down at Indy last week leads me to believe they will have a tough time matching up to their AFC East rivals.

Out on a limb – Colts
I’m not a fan of taking road teams when I don’t have to, so advising two of them in one week is abnormal for sure. That said, the Raiders are a train wreck and Andrew Luck has been red hot. I’m riding the Colts if I need to dig deeper in the week ahead.

Season Record: Playing it safe (6-1); Out on Limb (2-5).
