Each week there are some obvious starts and sits in fantasy football. Other decisions are not quite so simple. Here are some of my picks for Week 6 in the latest edition of Studs, Duds & Sleepers.
STUDS
QB: Joe Burrow (CIN at NYG): My Bengals’ Super Bowl predictions aren’t looking great, but my Burrow bounce back pitch sure is looking spot on. With Cincinnati’s defense struggling to stop anyone, the team is passing at a high-rate. The Giants have allowed three straight QB’s to reach 19 fantasy points.
RB Tony Pollard (TEN vs. IND): Pollard is the focal point of the Titans’ offense and projects inside my top 10 at the position this week vs. the Colts, who have ceded 15+ PPR points to three running backs this season. Pollard has reached that mark in three straight games himself. Expect a repeat effort here.
WR: Drake London (ATL at CAR): London is coming off a huge Week 5 performance (33.4 PPR points) and has been targeted 25 times over his past two outings. The Panthers have ceded the 10th most fantasy points and six receivers have already 16.3 PPR points against them this season.
TE: Tucker Kraft (GB vs. ARI): I might be a bit late hopping on the Kraft hype train, but I’m all aboard now after he’s been targeted 17 times and pulled in 12 balls for 165 yards and three scores over the last three weeks. No tight end has been better in fantasy during that span. With a 47-point total listed for his contest vs. Arizona, expect some more opportunities for success on Sunday.

DUDS
QB: Justin Herbert (LAC at DEN): Herbert is expected to return from his injury for the Chargers’ Week 6 tilt at Denver. But the Broncos are better than some realize. Only three teams have given up fewer fantasy points to signal callers than Denver. Keep Herbert benched for now.
RB: Travis Etienne Jr (JAC at CHI): In addition to battling a lingering shoulder issue, Etienne is also dealing with the fact that Tank Bigsby is carving out a role for himself. Those two issues coupled with a matchup across the pond with an underrated Bears’ D leaves me viewing the Jags’ RB more as a flex option than a must start (if healthy).
WR: Jakobi Meyers (LV vs. PIT): Meyers is top dawg for Vegas as long as Adams is missing in action, but the quarterback change and a tough Steelers’ D paying a visit aren’t encouraging signs. Don’t rush to put him in your lineup this week.
TE: Mark Andrews (BAL vs. WAS): Andrews is no longer startable and if things don’t change quickly it will be time to cut bait for good. There are just too many options and not enough targets in the Ravens’ passing attack for him to have much fantasy appeal.
SLEEPERS
QB: Jared Goff (DET at DAL): Goff is a fringe top 12 play on my board this week vs. a Cowboys’ D that is without its best weapons.
RB: Tyrone Tracy Jr. (NYG vs. CIN): Even if Devin Singletary returns to action this week Tracy earned a bigger role. The Bengals’ D has struggled all year vs. the run. If Singletary sits, the rookie possesses top 10 upside. Even if the veteran returns he could be a flex in deeper formats based on upside alone.
WR: Jalen Tolbert (DAL vs. DET): Tolbert is second only to Cee Lamb in target share on the Cowboys and I expect them to have to keep pace with Detroit on Sunday. He’s a WR4/flex option and has a decent ceiling here.
TE: Dalton Schultz (HOU at NE): Nico Collins is out and that opens up targets. Add to it a nice matchup vs. NE and Schultz a fringe backend TE1 in Week 6.
