Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:
Play It Safe (4-4): Bengals vs. LV
As disappointing as the Bengals have been, especially at home where they’re 0-4, I just cannot envision a scenario where they come out flat vs. the lowly Raiders with their season essentially on the line. If the Bengals blow it, they can officially be removed from any future Survivor consideration for this year.
Out on a Limb (6-2): Saints at CAR
After rolling the Panthers 47-10 in Week 1 I am riding the Saints again this time around even as they hit the road. The pick doesn’t come without risk though as New Orleans has dropped six straight contests since starting 2-0. I am making this pick assuming Derek Carr returns from injury. If he doesn’t I will be looking elsewhere.
