Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:
Play It Safe (5-2): Eagles vs. PIT
Man the Patriots hurt me in more ways than one last week. If you survived, the safest pick to me for Week 8 is rolling out Philly against a Steelers’ team that is missing key parts and enduring the growing pains of starting a rookie quarterback.
Out on a Limb (2-5): Bengals at CLE
Generally speaking I avoid road teams and divisional rivalries, but this Bengals’ offense is starting to gel and the one-dimensional Browns’ offense can ill afford to fall behind.
