Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick. So far my Play It Safe pick is 5-0 and my Out on a Limb selection is 4-1 on the year :
Play It Safe: 49ers at WAS
Going with the Bills hosting the Dolphins makes a ton of sense in Week 7, but Buffalo has a super easy schedule over the next 4-6 weeks, including a second matchup with the Dolphins. I like San Francisco nearly as much this week. The undefeated 49ers travel to face a Redskins’ team that is almost as bad as Miami. There is not another give me game anytime soon for San Fran, go 49ers here and reap the rewards later on when you still have Buffalo available and most don’t.
Out on a Limb: Jaguars at CIN
I generally shy away from road teams and recommending two in the same week is unheard of, but the Jaguars should be able to hold off a banged up and undermanned Cincinnati team. I expect the game to be low-scoring, so that could lead to you sweating this one out. The better team will prevail though and in this matchup that is undoubtedly Jacksonville.

I like it much better when the total was set at 50 as it opened, but it has since dropped down 1.5 points. I don’t love the bet, but if you want action in this contest this is the way to go! The under has cashed in 13 of Denver’s last 15 outings. It likely will again here.
