Office Pool Picks: Week 6

October 12, 2017

Last week was pretty tough all around with the byes starting and injuries piling up. Week 6 has a bit of an easier slate to navigate, but still some tough calls to make. Don’t do it alone, check out  our selections for this week’s Office Pool Picks.

Here are my picks for this week all your favorite office pool formats – Confidence Pool, Survivor and Against the Spread:

CONFIDENCE POOL
14 Broncos vs. NYG
13 Texans vs. CLE
12 Falcons vs. MIA
11 Patriots at NYJ
10 Redskins vs. SF
09 Chiefs vs. PIT
08 Ravens vs. CHI
07 Saints vs. DET
06 Raiders vs. LAC
05 Jaguars vs. LAR
04 Titans vs. IND
03 Bucs at ARI
02 Eagles at CAR
01 Packers at MIN

SURVIVOR PICK
Each week I’ll offer up my “playing it safe” and my “out on the limb” pick for your elimination pool:

Playing it safe – Broncos
Coming off a bye the Broncos are rested and healthy. The same can’t be said for their opponent. The Giants are 0-5 and just lost three of their wide receivers to season-ending injuries in one week. Denver should have a field day teeing up on Eli Manning behind that patchwork offensive line.

Out on a limb – Redskins
While most of the remaining pool will likely be on the Broncos or the Falcons, the Redskins appear to be a safe contrarian play. Their offense was starting to click before the bye and they get to host a 49ers’ team that still has much to prove.

AGAINST THE SPREAD (10-9 on season)

Pick of the Week
Chiefs -4

Other Plays to Consider
Packers PK
Lions +5
Under 43.5 JAC/LAR
Under 47.5 NE/NYJ
