Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:
Play It Safe (1-4): Eagles vs. CLE
It has been brutal in Survivor. The fact that the “play it safe” pick has lost 80 percent of the time so far this season says it all. This week I am hopeful the Eagles break the trend. They’re at home coming off a bye and facing the trainwreck that is the Cleveland Browns.
Out on a Limb (3-2): Texans at NE
The only reason I didn’t use Houston with the above pick is they are on the road. The Texans’ D are going to make things miserable for Drake Maye, who is making his first career start. I’m not crazy about laying the points, but I do like the Texans to win.
