SURVIVOR
Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:
Play It Safe (5-0): Bills vs. NYG
Picking against the Giants got us through last week and seems to be the best bet this time around too. Buffalo came up short on its trip to London, but should have no issues getting back on the winning side of the ledger as they return home on Sunday.
Out on a Limb (2-3): Rams vs. ARI
Both of these teams have been better than expected, but with James Conner now sidelined the Cardinals’ offense is taking a hit. The Rams enjoyed getting Cooper Kupp back last week and now have an arsenal of weapons in the passing game and that is going to present problems for a banged up Arizona defense.
THURSDAY NIGHT SPECIALS
Look for my “Against the Spread” plays in a separate article that will run each Saturday this season. Here I will look at my Thursday night betting recommendation.
The Pick:
$100 Under 47.5 DEN/KC (FanDuel -115)
Season total: +$310 (4-1 on season)
This game is definitely a lopsided matchup. However, with Travis Kelce’s status in doubt at the time I am writing this along with some potential for some dicey weather I am going back to the well and betting the under on Thursday night.
Same Game Parlay Prop Bet (DraftKings)
$20 (+280 DraftKings)
Season total: (-$100)
- Patrick Mahomes 250+ PaYd
- Isiah Pacheco 50+ RuYd
- Courtland Sutton 40+ ReYd
- Jerick McKinnon Over 1.5 receptions
