Last week’s NFL slate was full of surprises as many of the large amount of home underdogs won straight up. It led to some pretty dismal results. Let’s hope for a bounce back in Week 4. Each week I’ll offer up my “playing it safe” and my “out on the limb” pick for your elimination pool:
Playing it safe – Falcons
Atlanta moved to 3-0 last week on the heels of a controversial call, but a win is a win. They didn’t look their best, but the Falcons still found a way to prevail against a playoff-caliber team on the road. Now they return home to face a Buffalo team that will problems keeping pace. I’m flying Falcons in Week 4.
Out on a limb – Seahawks
The Seahawks are 1-2 and have issues on both sides of the ball. Even in their one win, they barely covered at home against the 49ers. Last week the offense looked a little better and let’s face it the Colts are below average. Seattle at home here.
