Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:
Play It Safe (0-2): Bucs vs. DEN
The Bucs have been on fire and expect the flames to continue to burn bright as they host a Broncos’ team led by Bo Nix. Expect the rookie to struggle on the road vs. Tampa Bay’s aggressive defense. On the other side of the ball Denver will likely struggle to slow Baker Mayfield and the red-hot passing attack.
Out on a Limb (2-0): Raiders vs. CAR
Why fix what isn’t broken? We are 2-0 picking vs. the Panthers and even though they’re benching Bryce Young for Andy Dalton, I don’t think it will be enough for the Panthers to sniff the win column vs. a tenacious Raiders’ pass rush.
