Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:
Play It Safe (11-5): Patriots vs. JAX
There are some lopsided games on tap this weekend and none that I like better than the Patriots hosting the Jaguars. Jacksonville is a train wreck and New England will look to bounce back in a big way after last week’s disappointing loss to Buffalo.
Out on a Limb (15-1): Chargers vs. DEN
I got so close going undefeated here, but that is what I get for trusting the Seahawks. After the Chargers let us down as our “play it safe” pick a week ago, I am a little gun shy turning to them again here, but Drew Lock starting for Denver I don’t see a way this one is going to disappoint. Go with the Lightning Bolts.
