SURVIVOR
Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:

Play It Safe (13-2): Broncos vs. NE
The Broncos came up flat last week in Detroit, but now they return home to welcome the Patriots. Denver is still fighting for their playoff lives and while the New England defense could challenge Russell Wilson and company, it’s the Broncos’ defense that will be the difference in this matchup.

Out on a Limb (10-5): Packers at CAR
Taking a team with a losing record on the road is always a risky proposition, but for those poolsters that are running out of the teams, the Packers vs. the worst team in football, the Panthers, could be a viable option.

THURSDAY NIGHT SPECIALS
Look for my “Against the Spread” plays in a separate article that will run each Saturday this season. Here I will look at my Thursday night betting recommendation.

The Pick:
$100 Over 46 (bet365 -110)
Season total: +$60 (7-6-1 on season)

The Rams’ offense has been clicking on all cylinders the last few weeks. The Saints are expected to get their top offensive weapon, wide receiver Chris Olave, back from injury. I like this game into the high 40’s and above.

Same Game Parlay Prop Bet
$25 (+200 bet365)
Season total: (-$220)

  • Rams ML
  • Kyren Williams Over 89.5 RuYd
  • Kyren Williams 20+ rushing attempts
