Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:

Play It Safe (12-2): 49ers at ARI
Many of you likely don’t have the 49ers left, but if you do this is the week to use them. The Cardinals’ defense simply won’t be able to slow down San Francisco. While I do expect Kyler Murray and company to move the ball it won’t be enough to keep up.

Out on a Limb (9-5): Rams vs. WAS
The Rams had their three-game winning streak snapped in their OT loss at Baltimore last week, but the team still has now scored 30 plus points in three straight contests and should have little problems reaching that mark against the depleted Washington defense.

Look for my “Against the Spread” plays in a separate article that will run each Saturday this season. Here I will look at my Thursday night betting recommendation.

The Pick:
Under 34.5 (FanDuel -110)
Season total: +$115 (7-5-1 on season)

Both teams are dealing with mass injuries on offense and playing on a short week. Despite getting burned badly last week rolling with the Thursday night under, I am going back to the well here.

Same Game Parlay Prop Bet
$20 (+450 bet365)
Season total: (-$220)

  • Raiders ML
  • Austin Ekeler Under 82.5 RuYd + ReYd
  • Max Crosby Over 0.5 sack
  • Over 2.5 Field Goals made
