SURVIVOR
Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:

Play It Safe (11-2): Ravens vs. LAR
John Harbaugh coming out of the bye is something worth backing. The Ravens have had their way vs. NFC foes recently and I expect that to continue vs. a banged up Rams’ team traveling across the country for a 1PM ET kick.

Out on a Limb (9-4): Packers at NYG
Going against the Giants has already cost me a couple Survivor entries this year, so that is more than enough to qualify for this spot. Still, Jordan Love has been on fire and I just don’t think New York’s offense can keep pace.

THURSDAY NIGHT SPECIALS
Look for my “Against the Spread” plays in a separate article that will run each Saturday this season. Here I will look at my Thursday night betting recommendation.

The Pick:
$50 Under 30.5 (FanDuel -115)
Season total: +$170 (7-5-1 on season)

This game is a bit of a brutal matchup. New England has scored 13 total points over their last three games, but their defense has been rock solid of late. Pittsburgh is starting Mitch Trubisky, but still has plenty of weapons. Points will be tough to come by.

Same Game Parlay Prop Bet
$20 (+550 bet365)
Season total: (-$200)

  • Steelers -2.5
  • Under 41.5
  • George Pickens Over 38.5 ReYd
  • Ezekiel Elliott Over 80.5 RuYd + ReYd
