SURVIVOR
Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:

Play It Safe (9-4): Chargers vs. NYG
The Chargers have been a roller coaster ride all season, but looked very good last week in dismantling a solid Bengals’ team. LA is dealing with some COVID issues, but still should have enough to easily handle the Giants, who appear to be on track to start their third string quarterback in this affair.

Out on a Limb (13-0): Chiefs vs. LV
Divisional games are always risky and the Chiefs haven’t looked great for much of the season, especially on offense. However, Patrick Mahomes has owned the Raiders, including earlier this year. Couple that with having the game at Arrowhead and I have no problem rolling KC out here.

THURSDAY NIGHT SPECIAL
You can get my complete “Against the Spread” plays to a separate article that will run each Saturday or Sunday morning this season. However, we will kick things off weekly here with my Thursday night betting recommendation. My starting Thursday night bankroll for the purposes of this article is $1000.

Starting Balance: $1000
Current Balance: $520

The Pick:
$220 to win $200 Minnesota -3

Both teams need a win in this one and both teams have mediocre at times this year. But the Vikings have more talent period and the added benefit of playing this game at home. Go Vikings!
