Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:
Play It Safe (10-2): Bucs vs. CAR
The Panthers just fired Frank Reich, have little talent and a rookie quarterback they might already be regretting. The Bucs burned me last week in other bets, but I like them big time here at home vs. Carolina.
Out on a Limb (8-4): Chargers at NE
Brandon Staley vs. Bill Belichick. When you’re betting on the Staley side in any matchup it comes with risk. That said, the Patriots are pathetic and they may struggle to win another game this year. Even the Chargers should be able to handle this assignment on the road.

The Cowboys have hit the over in 9 of their last 10 home games. However, Seattle has played to the under in 12 of their last 21 overall contests. I lean under here, though the way the Dallas defense scores it is risky. I just don’t expect Seattle to muster much, but if they can move the sticks on the ground it may shorten the game.
