Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:
Play It Safe (10-1): Lions vs. GB
In an attempt not to use the Cowboys again for a third straight week as they continue to play the NFL’s easiest schedules I am rolling with the Lions here. The last time Detroit won on Thanksgiving was 2016. This time they right the ship and give the hometown crowd some to be thankful for as they roll the Packers.
Out on a Limb (7-4): Chiefs at LV
Despite how ugly things have looked on offense, I am going with the Chiefs to bounce back as they travel to Las Vegas. Things are never easy on the road inside the division and the Raiders’ defense is not a pushover. That said, Mahomes and company aren’t going to come into this game flat after their disappointing home loss a week ago.

The Pick:
$100 49ers -7 (BetMGM -110)
Season total: +$180 (6-4-1 on season)
The Seahawks have been solid all season, but their injuries to key players are mounting up. Geno Smith is expected to go, but playing on a short week won’t do him any favors. On the other side the 49ers have all their key players healthy, including Deebo Samuel and Trent Williams. This game won’t be a blowout, but I do expect the 49ers to win by a touchdown or more.
