Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:
Play It Safe (8-2): Ravens vs. CAR
Don’t over think this one. The Ravens are the only double-digit favorites of the week and coming out the bye since John Harbaugh took over the team in 2008, Baltimore is 11-2. The Panthers turning back to Baker Mayfield won’t help their cause.
Out on a Limb (3-7): Commanders at HOU
Since Taylor Heniecke took over at quarterback Washington has gone 3-1 and now they’re right back in the NFC playoff hunt. I don’t expect a let down here. They’re likely won’t be scoring much in this one, but look for the Commanders to come out on in the end.

The Packers burned me last week when I was in on the Cowboys, but with wintry weather in play this feels like a Derrick Henry game if I ever saw one. I lean towards the under, but 41 is just a tad lower than I want to go. In a game that is a coin flip I’ll take the points and the hook. Move quickly though, DK is one of the few spots offering up +3.5.
