Play It Safe (5-4): Bears vs. NE
The Bears have been pretty disappointing the past few weeks, but a home matchup with the Patriots could be just what the doctor ordered. Chicago’s offense has been a bit dysfunctional, but expect them to start to turn things around here. Even if they don’t, the Bears’ D should be able to carry the flag in this one.
Out on a Limb (6-3): Giants at CAR
Picking a bad team on the road vs. the Panthers burned me in this spot a week ago, but I am going back to the well here. Both teams are 2-7, but the Giants seem so much better on both sides of the ball.
