SURVIVOR
Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:

Play It Safe (7-2): Ravens at MIA
Baltimore delivered last week as my “out on the limb pick” and they should roll even more this week as they travel to Miami on the road for a Thursday Night affair. The Dolphins are dinged up on both sides of the ball and just snapped their losing streak with a win vs. Houston in Week 9, but they’ll get a new losing streak started here.

Out on a Limb (9-0): Cowboys vs. ATL
Even though they burned me last week as my “play it safe” play, if you still have Dallas this could be a wise week to use them. Look for Dak Prescott and company to come out with something to prove against an overmatched Falcons’ defense.

THURSDAY NIGHT SPECIAL
You can get my complete “Against the Spread” plays to a separate article that will run each Saturday or Sunday morning this season. However, we will kick things off weekly here with my Thursday night betting recommendation. My starting Thursday night bankroll for the purposes of this article is $1000.

Starting Balance: $1000
Current Balance: $740

The Pick:
$330 to win $300- Ravens -7.5

After suffering my worst Thursday night beat of the season a week ago in taking the Under in the Jets/Colts game, I’m going three units tonight on the Ravens vs. the Dolphins. Baltimore generally plays to the level of their competition, but I think they’re due for an easy blowout win and what a better place to get it. Ravens win by double digits in this one.
