Fantasy Football: Week 1 Injury Report

It’s the opening week of the NFL and fantasy football season and fantasy owners have some injuries already mounting. While some big names have already headed to IR, here are some other developing situations that will need to be monitored.

Thursday injury fallout…

Dallas WR Michael Gallup sustained a strained left calf during Thursday’s loss at Tampa Bay and will be sidelined 3-to-5 weeks, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

QUARTERBACKS
DeShaun Watson (non-injury) – ruled out on Sunday vs. JCK

RUNNING BACKS
Saquan Barkley (knee) – officially questionable, but should play vs. DEN
Austin Ekeler (hamstring) – team is optimistic he’ll suit vs. WAS on SUN
Josh Jacobs (toe) – on track to play vs. BAL after a limited practice FRI

WIDE RECEVIERS
Odell Beckham (knee) – hopeful to play, but officially GTD for 4:25 game vs. KC
Kenny Golladay (hamstring) – Not on injury report; set to go vs. DEN
Curtis Samuel (groin) – officially placed on IR on Friday
Jamison Crowder (illness) – not available for Wk1 as he remains on reserve/COVID19 list
Nelson Agholor (ankle) – questionable after putting in a limited practice FRI
Tre’Quan Smith (hamstring) – officially placed on IR on Friday

TIGHT ENDS
Evan Engram (calf) – officially ruled out for Week 1 vs. DEN
