SURVIVOR PICK
Each week I’ll offer up my “playing it safe” and my “out on the limb” pick for your elimination pool:

Playing it safe – Steelers
They might be without James Conner, but the Steelers will not have any problems getting past the hapless Raiders in the Black Hole. Look for Big Ben to have a big day and for Pittsburgh to help you sail on to Week 15.

Out on a limb – Bills
I’ve like what I’ve seen from the Bills in recent weeks, especially the play of rookie quarterback Josh Allen. This team plays with heart and the defense is legit. At home against a Jets’ team that has dropped six straight seems like a good spot to go contrarian. New York is expected to get Sam Darnold back under center, but the rookie is going to struggle in first-ever start at New Era Field (still call it Rich Stadium).

Season Record: Playing it safe (11-2); Out on Limb (7-6).
