SURVIVOR
Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick. So far my Play It Safe pick is 5-0 and my Out on a Limb selection is 4-1 on the year :

Play It Safe: Rams vs. CIN
The Bengals are the worst team in football right now. If you throw out the Dolphins’ first couple of losses, they’ve actually been more competitive than Cincinnati since Week 3.  WhoDey think going to beat the Bengals? Everybody this year. Ride the train, go Rams!

Out on a Limb: Seahawks at ATL
Even if Matt Ryan (ankle) is able to play it won’t matter for the Falcons. This team has a ton of a holes and Seattle is fighting for their playoff lives in a logjammed NFC. Expect Russell Wilson to lead the way to an easy Seattle win here.

THURSDAY NIGHT SPECIAL
I am moving my complete “Against the Spread” plays to a separate article that will run each Saturday or Sunday morning this season. In its place here, I am introducing a new Thursday night betting recommendation. My starting Thursday night bankroll for the purposes of this article is $1000.

Starting Balance: $1000
Current Balance: $1335

The Pick:
$110 Redskins +17

The Vikings should win this one easy, but the 17 points seem like too many. Minnesota wants to grind it out and should have no problems doing so tonight vs. Washington. They might win by double digits, but not 17 – let’s roll with the Redskins here.
