Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick:

Play It Safe (5-1): Rams vs. CAR
The pick this week is the Patriots. At home in prime time on Monday vs. the lowly Bears. Look for the New England defense to shut down Justin Fields and company and the Patriots’ ground attack will be too much for Chicago to handle.

Out on a Limb (1-5): Raiders vs. HOU
I purposely take risky games here, but the fact this pick has missed every week tells me perhaps it is helping poolsters in a different way, identifying the trap. Regardless, I am sticking to the process here. Las Vegas has just one win all season, but coming out of the bye I’m trusting in this spot at home.

Look for my “Against the Spread” plays in a separate article that will run each Saturday this season. Here I will look at my Thursday night betting recommendation.

The Pick:
$110 – Under 44.5 (DraftKings -110)
Season total: (4-2 on season; +$190 season total – won last week w/Under 38)

The Under train on TNF rolls on for me. The under has hit in five straight Cardinals games too and right now Arizona’s offense looks broken. While they are getting D-Hop back, Arizona will be without Hollywood Brown and are still banged up a bunch in the backfield.

Same Game Parlay Prop Bet (DraftKings)
$20 to win $110 (+400)
Season total: (-$10)

Kyler Murray Under 249.5 PaYd
Taysom Hill Under 49.5 RuYd
Alvin Kamara Over 19.5 ReYd
Rondale Moore 5+ Receptions
