SURVIVOR
Each week I will pick two games, my “Play it Safe” selection as well as my “Out on a Limb” pick. So far my Play It Safe pick is 5-0 and my Out on a Limb selection is 4-1 on the year :

Play It Safe: Saints
The Saints are fresh off the bye and finally starting to get healthy and now they get to face a Falcons’ team that has been riddled with injuries of their own at home. Normally, I would stay away from games in this rivalry altogether, but this is not the case in 2019. Go Saints!

Out on a Limb: Colts
Picking against the Dolphins isn’t as easy lately as it was earlier in the season. Plus, the Colts may be without Jacoby Brissett under center. Either way at home and with their defense I’m comfortable endorsing Indy here regardless of whom winds up under center.

THURSDAY NIGHT SPECIAL
I am moving my complete “Against the Spread” plays to a separate article that will run each Saturday or Sunday morning this season. In its place here, I am introducing a new Thursday night betting recommendation. My starting Thursday night bankroll for the purposes of this article is $1000.

Starting Balance: $1000
Current Balance: $1325

The Pick:
$110 Over 49 LAC/OAK

The Raiders have definitely won me over as the season has gone on and a legitimate team and playing at home I like their chances. However, the Chargers have started playing better in recent weeks too. I’d take Oakland if I had to pick a side, but I likely won’t be wagering on that. The best bet here is points and though I wish I would’ve gotten in on the opening total of 47.5, I’m still willing to go with the over at 49.
