Office Pool Picks: Week 9

November 2, 2017

After seeing the underdogs tear up for most of the season, the favorites are making a comeback. Over the past two weeks the team laying points has gone 18-8-2 ATS over the past two weeks. Here’s my best crack at picking winners for your Week 9 Office Pool Picks.

*UPDATED: Made changes with news of DeShaun Watson (ACL) injury.

Here are my picks for this week all your favorite office pool formats – Confidence Pool, Survivor and Against the Spread:

CONFIDENCE POOL
13 Eagles vs. DEN
12 Jaguars vs. CIN
11 Seahawks vs. WAS
10 Raiders at MIA
09 Saints vs. TB
08 Falcons at CAR
07 Rams at NYG
06 Cowboys vs. KC
05 Bills at NYJ
04 Texans vs. IND
03 Packers vs. DET
02 49ers vs. ARI
01 Ravens at TEN

SURVIVOR PICK
Each week I’ll offer up my “playing it safe” and my “out on the limb” pick for your elimination pool:

Playing it safe – Jaguars
“Sacksonville” gets to face the one of the worst offensive lines in football this week as Cincinnati comes to town. I look for the Leonard Fournette and the Jaguars’ D to feast on the Bengals on Sunday.

Out on a limb – Seahawks
The Redskins are an above average team for sure, but the Seahawks at home is too good to pass up. I cannot see Washington’s defense slowing down the red-hot Russell Wilson and the 12th man should help keep the one-dimensional Skins’ offense in check.

AGAINST THE SPREAD (17-17 on season)

Pick of the Week
Jaguars -5

Other Plays to Consider
Ravens +3.5
Falcons -1
Packers +2.5
Over 51 IND/HOU
